Hi Queens!

I did a 5 day work out streak this week! I started on Sunday. Some days I didn’t want to workout like today or I wanted to give up 1/2 way but I kept going and if I can do it so can you Queens. Since last week I lost 4lbs, I gained about 8lbs when my friends came to town we were on an all you can eat challenge lol. I’ll try not to do that to my body again.

Last week, when I saw cellulite all over my body in areas I hadn’t seen before I was determined to do something about it. I have been overloading on sugar and maybe that’s why it got to this point, gained weight and didn’t workout. I know cellulite, wrinkles, stretch marks are a part of gaining and losing weight but I hope with this latest challenge I can do something about it.

Regardless, I will wear sexy outfits this Spring and Summer because beauty is an attitude and we’re all beautiful Queens. ❤️

If I wake up for the live I’ll do this Kettlebell with Coach Chasity! 💞

Hi Queen.

It is hard to lose weight as we get older I am 53 and thought I was never going to lose weight especially 2 years ago I couldn’t believe how I looked but that’s when I started taking QW seriously and joined all the challenges, took all the advice I found here and amazingly I did lose weight and most importantly my body started getting that look I thought was gone forever. I don’t know what happens to us in our 50s but if we don’t take care our bodies they get deformed (speaking from my personal journey). The upper body gets bigger, I felt like a football player lol.. not a sexy look.

I cut beer out it made a huge difference, I still drink wine but cut down to 1 glass or 2. If I cut everything out then am over eating so I try to find balance. Tracking like Fabiana mentioned helps. I don’t track anymore but I have the weight watchers app and know what I should avoid or the quantity I can have to not gain weight. I keep it for those time when I am tempted to buy something I know I shouldn’t then the app reminds me why I should skip it. It’s a lot of work.

Being Latina I didn’t grow up doing sports and I think other cultures put their kids in gymnastics, softball, etc., so those kids grow up working out and being disciplined and I didn’t so I have to do it now at this age. Actually, I’ve been trying my whole life, it’s got to be a lifestyle.

You got this Queen, we have to keep trying every day. I lost 4lbs since last week by working out and eating better.

I like the 30 minutes too! I went to look for them in my favorites and found ones I loved.

But now knowing the 1 hour ones will help me lose weight am going to try to do the 1 hours. I finally was able to do 2 or 3 one hours this year!

Here’s some of the items I use the most except the calm magnesium which I have and never use. 😁

Here are some of my favorites… matcha 🍵 tea with collagen and a tiny spoon of apple vinegar in the morning.

For my black coffee I add turmeric, cinnamon and a scoop of collagen.

For my protein smoothie/shakes I add only 1 scoop of protein because 2 make me gain weight. I’ll add frozen berries, bananas, peanuts or tablespoon of peanut butter.

On salads 🥗 I spray one pump of avocado oil.

Am eating bread maybe 3-4 times a week, the size of my palm I buy a small baguette and cut it in 3.

Still giving in to my cravings but trying really hard to do it in moderation and not eat at night.

We got this Jessica. It took me forever to get here. Wish I had started at your age so be kind to yourself we are all learning how to take care of our bodies.

From all the fun and eating I did while my friends in town I see cellulite omg 😳so that’s my sign to get it together, cut the sugar, get back to working out. Even 15 min is better than nothing. A few planks or squats when you can on those days you don’t have the time or energy.

Hi Queen, how are you?! I had friends in town for 7 days and, just seeing this now.

You look great, have patience, it takes a long time to make changes and make them a daily routine. It’s so easy to fall back too! My friends were in town and we ate so much. I don’t think anyone needs to eat that much but we managed to do it. I walked a lot the whole time they were here and did a lot of stairs and drank tons of water but didn’t like how I was feeling and looking. Since then I have lost 3lbs.

Anything we can do to get back to a healthy routine will help us build our next day, week, month. I let go since January with the fires, not just the 7 days my friends were here 😁. But am ready to be back 100%. Will try for 4-5 workout’s a week and avoid all the things I know make me gain weight. Also, try to eat 10am to 7pm or 12pm to 9pm to fast in the evening.

You can do it Queen!! Keep going, drink water, have healthy snacks, find healthy options you like, try cold sparkling water if you’re bored with regular water. I drink hot match tea, with a teaspoon of apple cider every morning instead of coffee being my 1st morning drink, I am starting to love it. I do a cup or coffee after. ☕️and throughout the day I have hot tea or sleep tea at night.

Jessica Basurto 😂😂for sure I am not going for that neck look, but it happens when I eat all the wrong foods 😣.

My friend the guy wanted that body builder look, my other friend a woman, didn’t, she stopped taking it and was able to get the look she was going for by working out with weights heavy lifting 🏋️‍♀️.
