Just rejoined after 2 years, ready to start over again, everything looks so different now π, does this look complicated because I was so use to the other format? π©

Hello QW Fam!ππ
I am officially 1 month into working out and eating better on a regular basis. I went from 245 pounds to 231 pounds so far. My goal weight is 190 pounds because my doctor recommended it. I have alot of work to do still, but I am just grateful to get this far. Also, I am new to this and feel insecure about sharing but I do want to hold myself accountable. For the first time in motherhood, I've committed to taking care of my well-being and I want to stay motivated to keep going. Thank you guys for helping me to keep going. The testimonies, workout programs, community, and more is sooo encouraging. What a privilege it is to be a part of something like this and grow with yallππ
Real Talk, Queens⦠age is just a number but so is the number of days we keep putting it off!
The truth isβ¦ the longer we go without moving our bodies, the harder it becomes to start again. Not because we canβt but because life starts stacking up: the fatigue, the stress, the excuses. But guess what? Youβre not too old, not too late, and not too far gone to change your story.
Consistency is your superpower not perfection.
Thatβs why Queen Warriors was created:
β No need for fancy equipment
β No babysitter required
β No 2-hour gym sessions
Just 30-50 min from home, with a supportive community of women showing up right alongside you.
This journey isnβt just physical itβs personal, itβs spiritual, itβs powerful.
You are not alone. Weβve got you.
So no more excuses. Put your big girl panties on⦠tighten them bra straps, but your workout gear on and babyyyyy get to work !!!
Xoxo

Feel good not guilty for being limited on who and what you grant your energy to! π€π½π₯°

Long rant: i joined this community back in May, i was only 1 month postpartum and going through postpartum depression and anxiety (still am) and needed something to lift my spirits. I even joined the LYC glow and flow back in June to try and get me to commit and do this, I was doing the workouts, even did the booty blasters and really pushing myself. Needless to say i fell off, completely just lost track of everything, depression got a grip and didnβt let go. I missed one workout and one turned into two and so forth and here i am, 4 months later and back at work and completely out of it.
I am doing one workout today just to get me moving and seeing where this goes. This post is to take accountability for falling behind and losing track and focus but also to express that yes i fell back but i can get back up. I will try this again and try to stay motivated to do this. Postpartum is HARDDDDD and i wish that i could just snap my fingers and be better but thereβs work to be done.
Hereβs to me, waking up early, going to the gym in my building and getting on the treadmill for a good 30 minutes at least and then maybe doing a low intensity workout to get me moving.. then enjoying an iced coffee because life is really life-ing.
Happy Tuesday Warriors! Glad to be back.
