Amanda J. Yes Queen, women with diastasis recti may be able to participate, but the workouts should be appropriately modified based on the severity of the condition and how their core responds to movement. For someone with diastasis recti, we would recommend getting clearance from a healthcare provider or pelvic-floor physical therapist first. Certain movements that cause abdominal bulging, coning, or doming such as some crunches, sit-ups, planks, or leg lifts, may need to be modified or avoided. If you're asking specifically about the Queen Warriors program, I’d position it as: the program can provide general strength and fitness guidance, but it isn't specifically a diastasis-recti rehabilitation program. A pelvic-floor PT would be the best person to assess the condition and guide the appropriate modifications.
