Hi Queen! Thanks so much for sharing this! The LYC – POWER Challenge was designed to give you the best results with simple, minimal equipment mainly just dumbbells and resistance bands. These tools help progressively build strength and tone, which is why they’re included.

That said, we understand many Queens are working out from home and may not have them. Here are a few alternatives you can try:

Dumbbells - use water bottles, laundry detergent jugs, or filled backpacks.

Resistance bands - bodyweight moves or a towel for light resistance.

For step-ups or elevated moves - use a sturdy chair, low bench, or even a step/stair.

The workouts are flexible, and what matters most is showing up, staying consistent, and challenging yourself with what you do have.  If you need further support with equipment swaps, feel free to email us at info@queenwarriors.com

Hi Queen! Great question! It’s totally fine if you’d like to do the Love Yourself Challenge – POWER Edition Tuesday through Friday instead of starting today. What matters most is that you complete your 3 workouts per week you have the flexibility to decide what days work best for you. The most important part is staying consistent and listening to your body along the way. Amazing job on completing Day 1, Queen! That’s such a powerful start. 

For the step-up movement, no worries at all if you don’t have a step or bench you can modify in a few ways:

✅ Do reverse lunges instead (stepping one leg back and lowering into a lunge).

✅ Use a sturdy low surface you already have at home (like the bottom step of stairs or a stable platform).

✅ Or simply increase reps of squats or split squats for the same muscle engagement.

The goal is to challenge your legs and glutes, so choose the option that feels safest and best for you.
