Weekly Check-in
Good Afternoon Queens π... just checking in. I'm not use to being part of an online community so its not a habit of posting every other day. But I do want to let y'all know how my week went.
I did NOT start my workout at the beginning of this week due to my weekend sunburn π₯΅ π and being that the first workout was upper body I just couldn'tπ₯΄. But I held myself accountable to make it up because I wasn't going to be held back by a few days to then feel overwhelmed for a new week. So yesterday looked like this:
*8:30am- I went to my X-treme HipHop Step Class
*1:30'ish- did my W1D1 of LYC Summer
Had the intentions to do W1D2, but something came up(motherly duties) and couldn't do it.
*Missed church today cause I just was sore ALL OVER my body π©...
*9am- picked a random full body stretch class by Raven and y'all I'm here trippin cause we did some glute stretches and now my booty feels sore π but like she said we were going to stretch parts we didn't even know we would feel it at.. so my plan is to finish D2&3 today and be back on track for week 2!
Let me just say I'm proud of myself being intentional, I dont have the luxury of being equipped with some of the equipment I only have 3lb & 10lb dumbbells. No resistant bands, or glute bands, no chair, no yoga ball, no mat but I did find in my closet a postpartum waist wrap from yeeeears ago that's stretchy and adjustable. Y'all I was able to use as resistant bands π π I gotta show you. I was determined to make nothing out of something because I wanted my workout to feel worthy. So hey π€·π½ββοΈ I got it done, and I'm winning in my π cause determination will trigger your motivation!!! πͺπ½ππ
This is me know! I use to have curves for days then covid - divorce- single mom - working multiple jobs to provide and be present. During this time I started drinking alcohol seltzers to cope and this is the result. Shameful YES but Iβm ready to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I need ME back - my family needs me back - my community needs me back. This is more than a BIG BOOTY AGAIN - this is about regaining my strength as a woman in this world! I could use support during this time. Routine is critical for me- I have the lemon water - celery juice- workouts on lock but lost on how to drop 10 pounds in 30 days. I feel nutrition is the key! Any tips?

Iβm a busy working mom of 2 under 5 and work a sedentary job, this has lead to me gain 35 lbs and with the kids, and home chores I feel like Iβm drowning sometimes. This is me trying to find myself again β€οΈ and give the BEST version of myself to my family.
