Thank you Queens for your support, love, prayers, kind words. Last week I volunteered 3 days for 5 hours at one of the Eaton Fire evacuation centers in Pasadena offering free massages, plus an evening at one of the fire stations in Altadena. I answered a call from other massage therapist and joined them on this rewarding experience during a horrible time.

It’s easy to be consumed with tragedy and let yourself go. When I didn’t recognize myself I realized I needed to take care of me too. Thursday and Friday I took time for myself and to see family. On Monday, my sister wants me to join her and her family at Disneyland to take me away for the day.

I’ll continue volunteering my time and hopefully start getting work again but it’s still sad to think about the communities that no longer exist. When they open to the public I will go see it for now I only see what the news provides and it’s looks like a war zone not Los Angeles. Take care Queens and thank you again.

Jessica Basurto I know I still can’t believe this happened. I can’t even imagine what the people who have lost their homes and everything are feeling. It’s really heartbreaking. I keep thinking how we just had Christmas and all the kids who got their favorite toys now they’ve lost everything.
