Hey QW Fam! πŸ‘‘πŸ’–

It’s been a while since I’ve shared on here, but I’m still showing up and putting in the work. Lately, I’ve been seeing so many people around me struggling with their health, and it reminded me how powerful this process really is.

So today… I’m taking a leap of faith 😬 I’m finally sharing my story on social media. I’m so grateful for this community and the support I’ve received here, and I’m choosing to step out of insecurity and celebrate how far I’ve comeβ€”with God and with all of you cheering me on.

And to my fellow queensβ€”if you feel led to share your story too, DO IT. Your testimony has POWER. Someone out there needs to see your growth, your strength, and your transformation πŸ’–

P.S. I’m rooting for ALL of you. Keep going, stay strong, and don’t give up πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

This season has been tough. With all the responsibilities on my plate I had to dial back a bit and reset. I integrated cycling so I can multitask while working out. I also started taking some dance classes again. It has been years since I've done that!

I feel like being a part of the QW community has helped me to try new things more and just go for it. Even if I dont feel ready or like I am where I want to be physically yet.

How is life for y'all lately? Have you been consistent with being active or trying to? I hope y'all keep going and don't give up. Health is wealth. Yours matters.

Hey Queens! I hope all is wellπŸ‘‘πŸ’–

Just wanted to share my monthly accountability post. To be honest, these past 2 weeks have been harder than anticipated and I got depressed. It was a setback in how often I've been working out and in how I have been eating. I havent checked the scale, but I can feel my body saying it is time to get back up again and work harder.

So here I am. Shedding light on my weakness, so I can be made strong again. Tonight I choose to do words of affirmation, and a 30 minute workout to get myself back into the groove of a steady routine.

P.s. For those who may have fallen off or feel behind in your journey as well. This is your reminder to keep going. It's not too late. The sooner you get back up, the sooner you'll achieve your breakthroughπŸ’ͺ

I lost 23 pounds in the past 5 months. Hoping and working hard to lose another 6 before the year ends. What's your health goal before the year ends?

Hey y'all! Here's my most recent before and after shots. I don't currently know my weight because I rather focus more on my health than a number. However, I am feeling alot better so far.

Hip pain has left. I have less frequent headaches. I feel more energized compared to how I was a few months ago. I don't fit some of my clothing now lol but I don't mindπŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚ lol I am grateful for how far I have come and I am hopeful for more progress along the way😊🌸

For those who need to hear it: it's ok to struggle but don't be afraid to get back up again if you fall. The only way to overcome our struggles is to follow through. So keep going at your own pace wherever you are in your journey of health and healing. You got this!πŸ’–πŸ‘‘

Month 3- Health Journey Update:

This month in particular, was a tough one. It had the power to make or break me. I was so close to giving up on how far I've come these past few months because of some setbacks. However, I reminded myself of what coach Fabi has been saying about how "I need to show up for me."

I was disappointed in the number on the scale. I wanted the numbers to go down faster. I also got discouraged because the pounds went up by a few. Then I watched a mindset coaching video with the guest nutritionist. What they said was SO encouraging. About how we shouldn't let the scale determine our progress because sometimes the breakthrough shows up in others ways. For example, like loose fitting clothes, smaller waist, etc. I've made progress regardless, and should celebrate even the little wins along the way.

So today, I remind myself that I AM A WARRIOR AND I WILL KEEP GIVING MY BEST! Keep going queens, don't give upπŸ‘‘β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯

What are some things that help you guys stay on track with your health when you're busy or face changes in your schedule?πŸ€”

Please leave tips and comments below⬇️

Something I do is always have a case of protein shakes and granola bars available in my household. Something quick for me to grab throughout the week, without prep needed. Im not someone who typically sits down to enjoy breakfast as I'm always on the go. So that helps take care of my breakfast alot lately.

Month 2 update: I lost 5.5 pounds this month. I challenged myself in new ways by finishing coach sables boxing classes and doing some HITT workouts. As for eating habits, I've continued eating less carbs. In place of carbs I've incorporated more protein, vegetables, and fruits. Thankfully, the balance has been helping me to feel more full and energized through this journey so far. Maybe I'll post some recipes soonπŸ‘©β€πŸ³πŸ˜‹
