Vanessa , First, thank you for sharing your story with us. I know that couldn’t have been easy.

I want you to know how honored I am that you chose Queen Warriors during such a difficult season of your life. Reading your message moved me deeply.

I can’t pretend to know exactly what you’re feeling, but I can only imagine the weight you’ve been carrying since your diagnosis. The appointments, the treatments, the uncertainty, and the emotional toll that comes with it all.

What stood out to me most is that despite everything you’re facing, you’re still choosing hope. You’re still choosing to show up for yourself. You’re still taking steps forward. And that, Queen, is courage.

Right now, I don’t want you to focus on becoming who you were before this season. I want you to give yourself permission to meet yourself where you are today. This version of you is worthy of love, grace, patience, and compassion too.

Some days your victory may be a workout.

Some days your victory may be getting out of bed.

Some days your victory may simply be choosing not to give up.

And every one of those victories counts.

I also want you to know that while I understand the loneliness you’re describing, you are not alone here. This community is filled with women who have walked through unimaginable seasons and found strength they never knew they had. I have no doubt that many Queens will wrap their arms around you and remind you that you don’t have to carry this by yourself.
