Good morning Queens, Coach Alexis here! Tonight we are talking "Sweet Solutions". Tune in tonight at 7pm to get the tea on sugar alternatives...it's going to be sweet!😋 😉

We are the same...I love savory sweet combinations

This sounds really good!

Sorry about the delay this week Queens...I was having major technical difficulties this week 😮‍💨.

Hey Queen! You can never go wrong with snacks like nuts and seeds, they have protein and a little healthy fats too. For meals before hand any lean meat like fish, chicken, or even eggs paired with a healthy fat like avocado, cheese, or olive oil. A lot of these foods are anti inflammatory also which is needed when drinking! I hope this helps <3

Hey Viviana! Great question. There is research that actually supports having protein before, after, and both before and after a workout. So its really up to you and depends on your lifestyle. Neither is necessarily better than the other. It's more important to make sure you are meeting your protein needs throughout the entire day. Some things you can consider are if its been a while since you have eaten a meal with protein (over 2-3 hours), then it may be beneficial to have protein before your workout for energy. However, if you have eaten some protein within that time, then you may choose to have a protein shake after to help with muscle repair. I hope this helps!
