Iβd suggest focusing on diet and nutrition to put yourself in a calorie deficit for weight loss while prioritizing lifting weights or strength training to preserve or even gain muscle mass while in that deficit. You want to make sure you keep the muscle you already have and donβt lose that instead of just fat.
