Ok I'm going to start being intentional bout posting my progress. Sooo I spent $75 last night on groceries to prep my picked meals for the week.
Today's menu:
Breakfast - Avocado egg cups with bacon(I forgot to snap the pic 🤦🏽♀️)
Lunch - Cuban style pork chops with Avocado salsa (tasted exactly like guacamole) perfect combo (good fat with protein)
Unfortunately, I skipped dinner because it's too late to eat so I ate a 🍌 with organic PB🥜 drizzled.
I love water so drinking a gallon has been no issue, but I found that I barely make it 3 cups when I drink ice cold water. Regular water from our filtered water fountain at work in my $5 jug from Dollar general has been working great. Last Saturday I drank 75oz for the day and today I managed to drink 88oz (not forced) that was just all I drank today at work and throughout my workouts. I had to get hydrated before going to my first workout of the day, which is my weekly Free Fitness Bootcamp and then got home to finish my W2D1 #LYC Summer 2024 VS #TeamYvona
Hydrate Queens its very important to not workout out being dehydrated 💦 Love the encouragement and picture of you guys progress, its inspiring and motivational the love that's shown to one another is so awesome..... Weekly Check-in
Good Afternoon Queens 👑... just checking in. I'm not use to being part of an online community so its not a habit of posting every other day. But I do want to let y'all know how my week went.
I did NOT start my workout at the beginning of this week due to my weekend sunburn 🥵 👙 and being that the first workout was upper body I just couldn't🥴. But I held myself accountable to make it up because I wasn't going to be held back by a few days to then feel overwhelmed for a new week. So yesterday looked like this:
*8:30am- I went to my X-treme HipHop Step Class
*1:30'ish- did my W1D1 of LYC Summer
Had the intentions to do W1D2, but something came up(motherly duties) and couldn't do it.
*Missed church today cause I just was sore ALL OVER my body 😩...
*9am- picked a random full body stretch class by Raven and y'all I'm here trippin cause we did some glute stretches and now my booty feels sore 😂 but like she said we were going to stretch parts we didn't even know we would feel it at.. so my plan is to finish D2&3 today and be back on track for week 2!
Let me just say I'm proud of myself being intentional, I dont have the luxury of being equipped with some of the equipment I only have 3lb & 10lb dumbbells. No resistant bands, or glute bands, no chair, no yoga ball, no mat but I did find in my closet a postpartum waist wrap from yeeeears ago that's stretchy and adjustable. Y'all I was able to use as resistant bands 😂 😆 I gotta show you. I was determined to make nothing out of something because I wanted my workout to feel worthy. So hey 🤷🏽♀️ I got it done, and I'm winning in my 🌎 cause determination will trigger your motivation!!! 💪🏽💕👑

GM Queens! I just wanted to be transparent in a place where I feel safe and comfortable. I'm a 41 yr old boy mom of 3, ages: 19/16/3, yes you read it a huge gap between them. However I've been struggling with my fitness journey on/off many many years. I have been attending a free fitness bootcamp here in my local area since April and decided to join this challenge because I feel like I can and will get more out of it. To share my before pictures with you guys is something I am embarrassed about because I never ever share pictures like these. I almost got in tears even taking the pictures because I see myself every day and when I do it reminds me how careless I was about my body, it's not easy being a single mom and putting yourself first but I'm being vulnerable now and telling myself that yes I am beautiful but I have work to do. And having the Queen Warriors community is such a motivating thing. Because I know we're all here for the same reason, it's not a judgement zone. I definitely took this leap of faith and made a financial sacrifice to do something for me, to better myself as a woman, and a mom! 👑 💕 💪🏽 #LYC #SummerChallenge24 God Bless you all...

Hi queens good morning! I became a member a couple weeks ago, however I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the information from online to the app. This summer challenge how does it work? Where do I go?
