19 days ago my life finally turned around, but a lot of damage was done before i hit the bottom. Drinking and smoking and prioritizing everyone & everything else, eating service industry food for years caught up to me, birth control weight gain in my 20s and depression. But the drinking and smoking was definitely the worst. Thinking “oh I’m young I won’t do this forever”, well I stopped being young enough to think that way a long time ago 😂
So 19 days ago I had too much to drink and finally it all came to a head. I ended my 4 year relationship, I haven’t been at all interested in a drink or a smoke since and I feel so unbelievably relieved. All the reasons I was unhappy existed before the relationship, but treating myself like a failure for it not being the right fit was next level toxic to myself! He’s a good man, we just truly aren’t compatible and I was trying to make it work.
All of that is to say, 3 weeks into moving forward I am sober and smoke free. Now is the time to go back to the love of fitness and athleticism that I had as a young adult. My hardest struggle is carving out that time and making it nonnegotiable, even with myself. I don’t have a set in stone daily schedule, so I like to think “oh I’ll do it when it makes sense for the day” but i haven’t been successful with that like .. ever. Sorry for long this is, but I am sayin all this to a whole bunch of strangers because it’s time. It’s time for me to take it seriously. Build my business, get into my fitness and travel. That’s my dream. ✨anyone who wants to chat, be accountability partners, anything, reach out! ♥️
Just completed my first 10 minute ab workout after being signed up for months. It was hard and I really wanted to give up, but half way in she gave a “you can do it Auntie”, and Yes. I DID THAT!
Tonights workout was great!!! Feeling that burn!!! I keep showing up for myself one day at a time!!!

First of all…… last night workout was CRAZY . I must have woken up and choose violence 😂😂😂 because baby I stood on that mat like I didn’t want to go home. And the reality is, I couldn’t 😂😂😂 I left my legs and my whole body on that mat.
Anyway today we are back for another round of GREATNESS !! If you haven’t been showing up as hard as you should, don’t question it, JUST SHOW UP !
Life happens, and all we can do is show up as the best version of ourselves that very next day !
