GM Queens! I just wanted to be transparent in a place where I feel safe and comfortable. I'm a 41 yr old boy mom of 3, ages: 19/16/3, yes you read it a huge gap between them. However I've been struggling with my fitness journey on/off many many years. I have been attending a free fitness bootcamp here in my local area since April and decided to join this challenge because I feel like I can and will get more out of it. To share my before pictures with you guys is something I am embarrassed about because I never ever share pictures like these. I almost got in tears even taking the pictures because I see myself every day and when I do it reminds me how careless I was about my body, it's not easy being a single mom and putting yourself first but I'm being vulnerable now and telling myself that yes I am beautiful but I have work to do. And having the Queen Warriors community is such a motivating thing. Because I know we're all here for the same reason, it's not a judgement zone. I have som more food INSPO for Team Yvona! I was doing the yogurt parfait in the morning. Switched from nonfat yogurt to Greek nonfat and did not like the consistency plus I love it too much and keep making the portions bigger! π«’. Today I switched to a more lean breakfast with no βsugarβ (turkey kielbasa, toast, 2 eggs)
For lunch I made steak and paired it with a salad the first time and then made a fake chipotle bowl for the next one. It was really good!
For dinner I made some chicken thighs. Paired it with a few veggies the first time and then veggies and a large salad: spring mix, spinach, broccoli, carrot, purple carrots & pumpkin seeds.
I saved this part for last. I TRIED THE CELERY JUICE FROM SUJA π«π€¬π€¦π½ββοΈ itβs weirdly salty! I could only get down 4oz in the morning. Anyone else think the celery juice is like that as well?!?!????π±
