My Queen Im am right here with you, and know that you are not alone. I have realized the amount of work that it takes to keep a house clean, wash clothes cook dinner etc is ALOT !!!! Im dealing w it as well. I grew up in a house where my mom was a stay at home mom, and literally if the house was not cleaned she was not a happy camper. I have carried parts of that into my own life, forgetting that I work from home, so my hours are different than my moms.

Here’s what I have been experiment with :

1. Laundry : I do the kids because their loads are smaller and for myself and Matt I amusing a laundry service. The charge $1.65 per pound. They pick it up wash it, fold it and drop it off the next day . The towels and blankets I do myself at any time of the day that I remmeber lol

2. Cleaning : I have change my perspective on saying it “look dirty.” To “people live here” that has helped reduce the stress of constantly needing to see my house clean . I wake up fix my bed, my bathroom I did a whole declutter clean up and there a lot of things of way and organized things to a spefici place . Same with the kids. Its about creating a SYSTEM that works for you and your family . I also included the kids to clean . It may not look great but I’m teaching them how to keep their space clean.

3. Cooking: I make easy quick recipes. I defrost the meat in the am, so by 3pm I can start cooking while im taking meetings . You can also bake, and use the crock pot. I stick to the 4,3,2 method. I buy 4 types of protein,3 carbs, and 2 veggies and I cook during the week base on these options . Ps don’t be afraid to buy package items like rice ( low ingredients)

4. Take your lunch break: and do your workout ! I know we think about pushing a task forward but honestly work will always be there, cooking meals will happen ALWAYS but I’m not guaranteed my health.

5. DO NOT BE AFRAID to hire help . There are tons of single person cleaning girls. I have a young girl, shes Brazilian and shes been coming to clean for 4 years . Her rate is pretty reasonable for a 5 bedroom home. I do that once a month now

Lastly remmeber that we cannot do it all, honestly and who wants to spend their free day cleaning a house that will get messy in the next two hours. So I’ve learned to maintain it .

First of all, SIX C sections?! Your body has carried you through so much, and seeing you already recognizing the potential in yourself makes me so proud. Please give that body grace as it continues to heal.

But what you shared about Monday’s workout really touched me. THIS is why Queen Warriors has always been about so much more than changing our bodies. Sometimes we walk into these workouts carrying things nobody else in the room can see.

The fact that you were reminded of such a painful chapter and were still able to remind yourself, “I made it out. I’m here. I’m moving forward,” is POWERFUL.And girl, if something I said helped you find even a little bit of that strength in that moment, THAT is why I do this. ❤️
