Vanessa , First, thank you for sharing your story with us. I know that couldn’t have been easy.

I want you to know how honored I am that you chose Queen Warriors during such a difficult season of your life. Reading your message moved me deeply.

I can’t pretend to know exactly what you’re feeling, but I can only imagine the weight you’ve been carrying since your diagnosis. The appointments, the treatments, the uncertainty, and the emotional toll that comes with it all.

What stood out to me most is that despite everything you’re facing, you’re still choosing hope. You’re still choosing to show up for yourself. You’re still taking steps forward. And that, Queen, is courage.

Right now, I don’t want you to focus on becoming who you were before this season. I want you to give yourself permission to meet yourself where you are today. This version of you is worthy of love, grace, patience, and compassion too.

Some days your victory may be a workout.

Some days your victory may be getting out of bed.

Some days your victory may simply be choosing not to give up.

And every one of those victories counts.

I also want you to know that while I understand the loneliness you’re describing, you are not alone here. This community is filled with women who have walked through unimaginable seasons and found strength they never knew they had. I have no doubt that many Queens will wrap their arms around you and remind you that you don’t have to carry this by yourself.

For now, let’s take it one day at a time. One workout at a time. One breath at a time.

We’re not chasing perfection. We’re celebrating every step forward.

First, I am so grateful you listened to your body and got help when you did. What could have been a much different outcome became a wake up call and an opportunity for a new beginning.

Please don’t spend too much time beating yourself up. The important thing is that you are here, you have answers, and now you have the opportunity to make changes one step at a time. God is so gracious, and sometimes He gets our attention in ways we never expected.

I am incredibly proud of you for being honest with yourself, for going 48 hours without cigarettes, for removing the alcohol from your home, and for choosing to stop waiting for “Monday.” Those are powerful decisions.

Remember, your journey doesn’t require perfection. It requires consistency. Small choices repeated daily can completely transform your health over time.

Thank you for sharing your story because I know there are other women reading this who needed to hear it. Your vulnerability may be the very thing that inspires another Queen to take action before a health scare forces her to.

We’re here for you. God brought you through this for a reason, and I believe your next chapter is going to be a powerful one. 🙏❤️
