I really like the way Jamila explains the core engagement. I wasn’t expecting to do any lives today but glad I ended up doing it. Those are the best ones, the ones you didn’t plan to do until a later date.

Alright I’m gonna stop lighting up this feed lol goodnight 👑💪🏽

I just finished my follow up appt with my pcp. I discussed what I been doing and also mentioned I joined a on line fitness and told her the name Queen Warriors and the name intrigued her. I open the app and showed her everything that was offered. She loved it. She took a picture of the queen warrior ig page so that she can recommend it to other women that are looking for guidance in their fitness journey. She also said I might join myself lol

So… I didn’t own a weight scale and didn’t know I needed my weight for this challenge so I put the weight from my pcp visit on feb 11 which was 190. I went out yesterday and brought me a scale and this morning I weighed myself 178.2. I figured I lost weight because I kept trying on my jeans that no longer fit to actually fitting me again. I went from a size 8 to a 13. Now I fit a 10 very comfortably and the 8 fit but give me a slight muffin top which I don’t like. I’m so happy that I lost that weight. I felt so heavy before and out of breath. My goal is 140-145.

Motion is lotion for the knees they say. I have to agree. Feeling great after today’s workout.

After rupturing my acl every thing else came crumbling down. I have more issues then idk what. Arthritis in both knees, tennis elbow on both arms, sciatica and hip impingement. Some days are better than others, sometimes the good days outweighs the bad days. I just can’t give up on myself. I don’t have a backup plan. I worked thru my injury cause I couldn’t afford to be off. I don’t come from a big family. It’s just me and my daughter. I just want to be healthy and strong. So I may take a day or 2 off but i always come back to the goal at hand.

Back at again tomorrow. 👑🫶🏽🏋🏻‍♀️💪🏽

The ab recovery is not included for me. Does anyone else have access to it?

I have been investing in my little home gym area for a while. I need a step up looking for a good sturdy one. Using the bench is to high for me right now.
