But if you’re looking to just get the necessities first, I’d suggest a set of bands, a pair of light dumbbells (like 5lbs) because if you have two 5s, you can hold them both for some exercises and now it’s like you have one 10lb. Then picking something heavy that’s maybe a different weight than your two light added together. Like two 12s or 15s. Cause then you also have the option of using one or both for different exercises! Just a way to think about it to build a good range of options!

I’d also suggest checking FB marketplace or OfferUp for dumbbells!
