That dance workout was amazing! My lower back something hurts because I have andomyosis. These movements always help it loosen up. This one will stay on replay!

Hi everyone! I’m on my second day of working out. I haven’t worked out since before I had my 18mo old baby. I am also on a vegan diet.
I’d like to know if there are any vegans in here who can give tips on getting enough protein and calories to build muscle. I’d appreciate any guidance or suggestions!!
I’m super excited to be on this journey!

First time warrior queen here. I decided to join this program because I am tired of feeling the way that I do. I am not happy with the amount of weight I have gained since covid began. I gained 20lbs during locked down at home. Than last year I had my first son and that caused me to gain another 20lbs. This is the heaviest I have ever been and I am so ready for a change. My problem is I need the motivation and the push to actually get on track to a healthier me. My other reason for hesitating is I'm a double amputee and a lot of workouts that require squats or jumping or anything that will need me to use leg strength is a struggle for me so I need the right workout routines to help me with my dilemma. Although I have obstacles in my way I am still desperately wanting to get fit. I hope that this is the program for me as I am willing to follow whatever instruction and suggestions is given to me also knowing what to eat is something I need to know as I am a snacker. I will post a before pictures as soon as I can as I am ready to start this journey.

Yall I was looking EVERYWHERE for my AHW challenge photos from 2022, and finally found them. Each photo is 14 days apart. The first 2 weeks I would workout once a day and then I moved to twice a day because working out was and outlet for me. Plus our coaches made me feel like I wasn’t working out alone, so I loved that. Legit I did Yvona’s Barre at least 4-5 times a week, and would switch it up with the other coaches on the other days. But the biggest change I made was my diet. It was rough the first week but after that, I was killing it. But ladies, use this as motivation. I am a mother of 3, who mommies ALL DAY LONG. I also work from home on the evening shift, along with being a wife, and homemaker(cuz shit has got to get done, even if I’m working). But I made time for what I want, and still do in 2024. These kids and spouse KNOW, of mommy hasn’t had her workout, it’s gonna be a rough day for us all. My goal has always been, “be better than you were yesterday.” Cuz as long as God wakes us up in the morning, we are able to be better than we were the day before. Our mistakes from yesterday aren’t our mistakes for today. My laziness from yesterday, isn’t my laziness today. And so on and so forth. I hope yall have an amazing day, and remember that we can still be better then we were yesterday.

It’s so easy to make commitments to yourself when your on vacation and things are easy. Today the kids were back in school and the work was piling on at work and at home. 2023 me would have used that as an excuse to not keep my promise to myself. I was tempted but I knew I didn’t want to feel disappointed at the end of the day.
So I chugged my water and did RAven’s HIOT replay, took the vitamins and wrote in my gratitude journal. Promises kept.

Hello everyone!! I just joined today and I’m excited to get back into shape!! I usually go on these journeys alone and even though I make progress I tend to fall off and then backwards over time. So I’m hoping by signing up with this community that I’ll be inspired to reach and keep my goals!! Wishing you all the best, see you tomorrow for my first workout! Wish me luck 🤞🏾💪🏾
