I know I’m not the only one with a sweet tooth. This week’s cravings will be satisfied with some fruit and dessert hummus that I found at my local Aldi. I slice apples, bananas or strawberries and dip it in the either of the hummus. So good and filling.
How are y’all satisfying your sweet tooth?

Hey Queen. I sautéed red onions and garlic in extra virgin olive oil for a few minutes and then added the meatless chicken strips until they were brown. Once they were brown I added them to the salad mix. I mixed one cup from each salad bag and then some dressing (about 3 tablespoons). I’ll post the split pea soup recipe in a separate comment.

Just got home from my second job and wanted a quick and easy meal. Not gonna lie I wanted pizza but I stopped and realized I wasn’t being intentional. Was it going to fuel me? What it aligned with my goals? Did I plan for this? All the answers were no so I opted to make a healthier choice with the food I had at home. Chic’kn salad with split pea soup for the WIN.

It’s so easy to make commitments to yourself when your on vacation and things are easy. Today the kids were back in school and the work was piling on at work and at home. 2023 me would have used that as an excuse to not keep my promise to myself. I was tempted but I knew I didn’t want to feel disappointed at the end of the day.
So I chugged my water and did RAven’s HIOT replay, took the vitamins and wrote in my gratitude journal. Promises kept.

Day 2 of #keepingthepromises I made to myself. In this picture I was tired, just finished working and hadn’t drank any water. But I remembered that I wasn’t about to let myself down so I did my 30 minutes of working out, finished drinking my water about 30 minutes ago and caught @JenniferZoga affirmation class tonight. Finishing up my gratitude journal entry and calling it a night.
So excited to see what these next three weeks and year will look like when I don’t give up on myself.
