Okay so, real talk.

Whenever I go on vacation, I usually go all in....eatin’, drinkin’, livin’ it UP because… I mean, isn’t that what vacation is for!? Trying new foods, having fun, and not thinking twice about it.

But then I come home bloated, a few pounds heavier, and feeling like I need to hit the reset button.

Not this time. šŸ™ŒšŸ½

I just got back from a full week away, stepped on the scale, and saw I actually LOST weight. 😳 Like… what!?

Yeah, I moved my body with walks and even a yoga class (shoutout to my vacay self for that one lol), but I also didn’t let go of the healthy habits I’ve been working so hard to build.

Did I splurge here and there? Absolutely.

But I didn’t spiral.

And for me… that’s a huge win.

I’ve gotta say this wouldn't have been possible without the support, tools, and motivation I’ve gotten from this amazing community. So THANK YOU. Seriously.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. This journey feels different this time… and that feels really, really good. šŸ’–

These last few weeks? Whew. I’ve been mentally and physically exhausted. But somehow, I still managed to surprise myself. I’ve completed 3 workouts every single week. šŸ™ŒšŸ¼ I’ve got knee issues, and even with modifications, that 4th workout would leave me hurting, so I’ve been listening to my body and giving myself grace. Rest is part of the process too. My goal is to build up to that 4th one eventually, but for now, I’m proud of what I am doing. Especially since I haven’t consistently worked out in years. Between moving my body, eating cleaner, and counting my calories, I’ve been putting my health first and I’m happy to say I’m down 12 pounds since starting the Love Yourself Challenge! šŸ’ŖšŸ¼šŸ’•I can’t even remember the last time I saw the scale in the 220’s…so I know what I’m doing is working, even if it’s not ā€œperfect.ā€ Just felt like sharing because I had a moment of feeling a little defeated... but then I remembered how far I’ve come.

On to Week 5!! Let’s keep it going, Queens!! šŸ‘‘

Hi everyone!!! I'm so excited to be part of QW!! I've been watching Fabiana for some time on IG and was always so inspired by her workouts. Decided to finally commit to myself and my health and join her wellness movement. What I'm really looking forward to by joining is doing exercises that are actually fun to do, enjoy going back to the gym knowing how to do the exercises, losing some weight, gaining some muscle, getting my energy back, making connections within this community and the support and motivation to keep going! Can't wait to get started tomorrow!!
