I feel like my guilt as a mom stems from not wanting to disappoint them, by not being 100% present all the time. I realize that my alone time is sacred, and I’ve found a time of day that works for me just to be able to journal, be with my thoughts, do my skincare routine, start a pot of coffee— just for the aroma effects. It really is about the beauty in the stillness, you’re really able to connect with your inner self and most importantly, God, universe, lady wisdom…soaking in life’s splendor helps me to refocus my energy and then I’m able pour into my family, properly after being filled back up. Takes time to and effort, but we as women set tone on a daily basis for ourselves and those directly attached to us….I love that for us.it’s really personal, and I’m glad that there are like minded women who can relate.
